Stem-cell Tooth Fairy

Britain's first tooth cell bank has opened to store baby teeth as "insurance policy" against possible future disease and injury.

When a baby tooth falls out, it is particularly rich in stem cells which can be preserved for that person.

The tooth has to arrive at the bank within 24 hours. The BioEden stem cell bank sends a collection kit as soon as "The Tooth Fairy" has been notified.
